Carpano Antica Formula Negroni

A refreshing and smooth fall cocktail

This vermouth is made from a recipe that has been unchanged since 1786. This is the most classic way to enjoy it is in a Negroni.

This recipe is courtesy of award winning mixologist Jason Patz.

Ingredients

  • 1 Ounce Antica Formula
  • 1 Ounce gin
  • 1 Dash of bitters
  • 1 orange wedge
  • 1 handful ice

Directions

Fill a flat short tumbler with ice. Pour bitters, Antica Formula, and gin into a glass. Stir gently and garnish with an orange wedge.

Combine aquavit, vermouth, and Cynar in cocktail shaker. Add crushed ice. Cover and shake 30 seconds to chill. Strain into Martini glass. Garnish with orange peel twist.
